This is the seventh Annual Report on migration and asylum produced by the National Contact Point for the European Migration Network in the Republic of Croatia.
The purpose of the Annual Report on Migration and Asylum is to provide an overview of the most significant policies and legislative developments related to asylum and migration in the Republic of Croatia, as well as an overview of political and public debates in the field of asylum and migration.
The report covers the following topics: legal migration, international protection, unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable groups, integration, citizenship and statelessness, borders, Schengen and visas, return and readmission, irregular migration including smuggling and the fight against trafficking in human beings.
The report covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2021.
