The Government of the Republic of Croatia has adopted a Decision on the adoption of the National Program for the Suppression of Undeclared Work in the Republic of Croatia 2021-2024 and the Action Plan for the Implementation of the National Program

On 25 February 2021, the Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the Decision on the adoption of the National Program for the Suppression of Undeclared Work in the Republic of Croatia 2021-2024 and the Action Plan for the Implementation of the National Program (OG 20/2021)

The National Program for the Suppression of Undeclared Work in the Republic of Croatia mentions illegal employment of third-country nationals as one of the forms of undeclared work. In other words, the work of third-country nationals in the Republic of Croatia without a stay and work permit or work registration certificate.

The adoption of the document sets out the obligation to implement 14 measures, within which 27 activities are envisaged. The implementation of activities will be the responsibility of various stakeholders in accordance with the prescribed scope, whose activities will lead to the suppression of undeclared work.
