The new Ordinance on the regulation of Croatian language and Latin script examination for long-term residence enters into force

The Ministry of the Interior has adopted a new Ordinance on the regulation of Croatian language and Latin script examination for long-term residence (Official Gazette, No. 100/21)  

The Ordinance prescribes the procedures and costs of taking exams in the knowledge of the Croatian language and Latin script in the approval of long-term residence in the Republic of Croatia, as well as application and withdrawal from the exams, method of conducting and reporting the exams, exams deadlines and obligations related to keeping the examination documentation. With this Ordinance entering into force, the Ordinance on the regulation of Croatian language and Latin script examination for permanent residence (Official Gazette 121/12) shall cease to be valid.


The new Ordinance is available online on the website of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia.
