Slovenian Minister of the Interior visited the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia

On 25 January 25, 2022, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia Davor Božinović, Ph.D. welcomed the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia, Aleš Hojs, on an official visit.

The topics of the visit were the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and border crossing, migration, Croatian membership in the Schengen area and other issues within the competence of both ministries of the interior.

Minister Hojs expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the Croatian and Slovenian police and pointed out that the Republic of Croatia was ready to join Schengen. More detailed information on Minister Hojs' visit can be found here.
